The Jude Morris Racing Foundation is set up in memory of Jude, a brilliant 17 year old Motocross athlete who sadly lost his life competing in The British Championship at Duns in Scotland.
Factory Jude as he was known, was professional, hardworking, motivated and driven to succeed in his goal to win The British Championship. Jude always had time for people, he always smiled, never complained and was great fun to be with. He had a work ethic which was second to none.
He’ll be missed by his family, his friends and Motocross, which has lost a huge talent. RIP Jude.
The Jude Morris Racing Foundation aims to help, develop and coach aspiring athletes through physical and mental performance guidance. It ensures their physical and mental wellbeing for their chosen sport is at the highest level to improve performance, reduce injury and to ensure they can perform.
The Foundation will also set out to provide resource and funds for those needing the support in order to train and take part in sport. The Foundation will provide training in social media, press and media as well as help develop our athletes’ commercial skills allowing them to build their sponsor network and become self-funding by the end of their programme.
Giveaway Life, the leading motocross competition business and Air Ambulances UK have partnered up working towards a common goal of raising vital funds for air ambulance charities in memory of Jude Morris.
Both teams aim to continue Jude’s legacy forever as he was known as an inspiration to others through his eagerness to help and exquisite work ethic.
The Jude Morris Racing Foundation aims to support Air Ambulances UK in their efforts to create a fantastic legacy for Jude Morris and have set up a fundraising option via the website.
The Jude Morris Racing Foundation is looking for riders who are in the spirit of Jude and will have the same values as him:
In 2023, the Jude Morris Racing Foundation has supported seven talented riders, and in 2024, it aims to enhance its impact.
Tier 1 and Tier 2 riders will be selected by the foundation and its trustees, and their selection will be based on their performance during the 2023 season and their visibility on social media.
For Tier 3 sponsorship, we request UK motocross clubs to nominate individuals who compete in either the 65cc or 85cc category and who, in their view, exemplify the core values of the Jude Morris Racing Foundation.
The foundation strongly encourages clubs to complete the ‘Club Nomination’ form, which is accessible through the provided link below or can be found on our social media channels (@jmr_foundation_). Please make sure to submit your nominations before the 14th of November.
Once riders are selected, they’ll only become Jude Morris Racing Foundation riders when a contract is signed and agreed by both parties.
