JMR Foundation

14 teams returned to Thruxton for a fun day of karting mayhem!

The famous Wiltshire circuit hosted a fundraising kart day for the Jude Morris Racing Foundation with 14 teams, over 50 drivers, competing for the JMR Trophy.

A thirty-minute qualifying session saw Lytchett Minster RC take pole but with the “bids for pole” added to the mix it meant that LMRC slipped to second on the start grid.  Pole position went to the “Kids” made up of Ben White, Harvey James and Troy Gillett.

The race was 2 hours long and required teams to stop at least once for fuel and the mandatory driver changes.

It was a tight race right until the end, with the “Kids” team taking the chequered flag and the fastest lap of the race went to Craig Chambers from Chambers Cab Drivers🏆.

Congratulations the “Kids” on the win. 🥇
