The Jude Morris Innovation and Development Fund
The Jude Morris Racing Foundation is working together with Air Ambulances UK to continue Jude’s legacy, the Jude Morris Innovation and Development Fund has been established to celebrate Jude’s life. The Foundation continues to donate 20% of all money raised to The Jude Morris Innovation and Development Fund, helping air ambulance charities to save even more lives, now and in the future.
Six Grants Awarded
Air Ambulances UK charity members can apply for grants up to £10,000.
So far six grants have been awarded across the UK to support regional Air Ambulances in their life saving work.
EAST ANGLIA AIR AMBULANCE
East Anglian Air Ambulance is studying the use of near Infra-Red Spectroscopy to understand brain oxygenation during out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, potentially improving resuscitation strategies.
MAGPAS AIR AMBULANCE
Magpas Air Ambulance is pioneering the use of whole blood in trauma patients, which could simplify transfusions and enhance outcomes for traumatic injury patients nationwide.
GREAT WESTERN AIR AMBULANCE
The Great Western Air Ambulance Charity is involved in a trial to replace lost “whole blood” early in pre-hospital settings, potentially revolutionising care for patients with life-threatening bleeding.
KSSX
Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex is using drones to deliver defibrillators quickly, setting a precedent for other interventions delivered by drones and serving as a model for other air ambulance services.
MIDLANDS AIR AMBULANCE
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is providing advanced ultrasound training for clinicians, enhancing their diagnostic and treatment capabilities in pre-hospital settings.
THAMES VALLEY AIR AMBULANCE
Thames Valley Air Ambulance is developing training for preterm and neonatal emergencies, aiming to improve clinicians’ knowledge and confidence and, in turn, enhance parent experiences and reduce mental trauma.
